SHELL GRIT

Shell grit (soluble grit) is digested by the hen and contains calcium, most of which is used to form strong eggshells. The majority of an eggshell is made up of calcium carbonate by providing shell grit as a supplement it ensures the birds have sufficient calcium in their bodies to improve the production of eggs from the birds and aids in their digestion.
